Like the title says never missed a mortgage payment, but now two kids needing my watch how if any protections for people with VA loans in this time of crisis of missing a payment and Wells Fargo payment past due ?

VA only guarantees the loan, the lender themselves would have to authorize something, unless COngress rolls something up in their plans for mortgage relief. Italy forgave everyone's mortgage for the duration. We still have our heads up our asses because "buh buh buh....it can't get THAT bad, right?"

All banks and credit unions have this thing called "bill pay" and you can schedule your bills--so you should never miss paying a bill since it automated.
