Post a clear title like ‘Need help preparing PTSD claim’ or “VA med center won’t schedule my surgery” instead of ‘I have a question.

Knowledgeable people who don’t have time to read all posts may skip yours if your need isn’t clear in the title.I don’t read all posts every login and will gravitate towards those I have more info on.

Use paragraphs instead of one massive, rambling introduction or story.Again – You want to make it easy for others to help. If your question is buried in a monster paragraph, there are fewer who will investigate to dig it out.
Leading too:Post straightforward questions and then post background information.
Examples:-
Question A. I was previously denied for apnea – Should I refile a claim?

OK, I am really not trying to be a jerk. Please try to look at it the way I am looking at it then tell me what you think. From where I am coming from is I don't know if this grant is to help veterans or to solicit for more donations. A $250.00 grant will help but a onetime grant in no way is it lifesaving. Since I stopped working I try my best to steer away from solicitors asking for money. Don't get me wrong there are a lot of good things one can help out with but due to the fact that veterans income is very limited and money is very hard to come by, this just sounds like a ploy and an advertisement for more donations. My thoughts are that more donations will be a lifesaving difference for the DAV Officers and not veterans. If this is in the wrong place please move it.

Veterans can receive one grant per household and are encouraged to also consider taking part in one of DAV’s virtual job fairs, which are still taking place during the pandemic.
