Letter from QTC medical

I just got a letter from the VA (QTC), stating a doctor (Psych doc) from the QTC medical service will review my claim file for VA disability benefits. I already had my C&P exam over the phone by another VA doctor. The letter says Do Not travel, so I don't have to attend another C&P but I was wondering has anyone seen this before and what does it mean?

Sometimes they will do this where they did not get enough information from the first Medical professional and they need someone to give a more in depth look at your case.  

Basically they could not go one way or another and needed more opinions.  Just part of the waiting game!

I would think the VA is sending your complete file to QTC Examiner for a second look?  if you already had a C&P Exam for this same condition?

They maybe doing it this was because of the coronavirus Pandemic?

I know at my VAMC MH Clinics are doing the therapy session with telehealth virtual   my therapist is doing our sessions over the computer she is at her home and I'm at mine,,supposeable  this will continue the rest of the years depending on another outbreak of the covid-19 coronavirus.

I understand, It's just frustrating to think that if the first C&P was favorable they would do this to try and screw me.

It can happen, and you have to appeal.  It really sucks when they do this, but remember the backpay is worth the fight.  Even though I know having it now would be way better!  

Typically if they are doing this they did not have enough one way or another.  I have had two  and one went one great and the other not great, but I finally got the back pay and I am almost debt free.  So always keep the fight up, because if we quit they win!

I agree, the letter says the QTC provider will review your VA medical evidence to complete the VA's disability benefits questionnaire. I don't know exactly what that means but we will see.
