Question

when you file a claim and it takes a few years , and are granted your claim that puts you 50 percent  , can you get your 

Money you paid for your Meds back  you paid for 5 years , and how do you do that ?

lp1067 Probably the cleanest way is to submit an IRIS request with a email response requested. If it has been a long time it may take some time. You can always submit a HLR appeal if it is screwed up, but for most people, it is pretty straight forward. The last time I requested an audit I think it was completed in 3 or 4 weeks.

You can get the copays at VA paid back, yes.  To do that, take your VA award decision letter to the "means" office at your VAMC and request repayment for back co pays.  I got a check for around $800 for that.
