Have you applied for benefits and been denied because of this?  If so, consider contacting NVLSP, they have a specific department to correct military records:

That is a good link Broncovet for bad paper vets and others who fall under this excerpt from the article.

"Any veteran who received medical disability processing (Medical Evaluation Board /Physical Evaluation Board) that provided a combined disability rating of 20% or less and any veteran who was completely denied medical disability processing."

I dont understand what the Army "redacted DD214" means.

Do you have a copy of your complete SMRs and personnel file from the Military?

If so does the parachute fall  show as treated in service and on your discharge certificate?

Or did this cause you to be med boarded out?

Your DD 214 might need to be corrected with a DD 149, if you are not seeking to change a bad paper discharge:

https://arba.army.pentagon.mil/documents/DDForm149.pdf

This form is due to be changed by the DOD but it said it is still OK to use it.

You can just, under the Injustice questions, put Not applicable,... I just want to know if I received any awards or decorations, etc, that are not on my DD 214.

If we have more info we can help more.
