Moderator pacmanx1 Posted September 23, 2020 Moderator Share Posted September 23, 2020 (edited) Buck, IMHO in this COVID-19 era I would guess that you should contact the installation Military ID Card Section and ask them the question that you posted here. You could also contact the DEERS Customer Service number that I posted earlier and they should be able to advise you better. The installation may have more restrictions and or limitations and rules that you may have to follow. The last time I was on post, I just had to show my ID card and the soldier did not even take it. He just asked me to flip it so he could scan the back of it. Not sure if they would give your spouse another temporary ID card or an indefinite one like ours.
