HadIt.com Elder Buck52 Posted October 29, 2020 HadIt.com Elder Share Posted October 29, 2020 (edited) *Just a concerned health message* to all you Veterans out there If your over 50 you may want to think long and hard about getting your flu shot soon or even if your under 50. It may not keep you from getting the flu but it will help not to get so bad if it turns into pneumonia. A Dr. once mention to me that it takes about 7/to 8 weeks to become effective this is why we need to get the injection early before the cold wet winter weather shows up. I Got mine on Oct 22nd 2020. If you already received your flu shot ....> then way to go. Edited October 29, 2020 by Buck52 GBArmy

HadIt.com Elder GBArmy Posted October 29, 2020 HadIt.com Elder Share Posted October 29, 2020 Got mine 2 weeks ago. You should have a heads up though. If you are 65+ and get the booster shot. It is in short supply again this year so call ahead and be sure they have the correct dosage. With this Covid19 going on, if you have to get serious care for the regular flu, there may be a shortage of hospital beds when you contact it. And you sure don't want to be hospitalized with a regular flu and be exposed to others with Covid. Get your flu shot folks! Buck52
