Appeal remanded from Court to BVA, now what?

My Lawyer managed to get the CAVC to admit the BVA made a mistake in denying my appeal due to a CUE. It is remanded back to the BVA. What now? How long will it take ?(it's already been over 7 years). I'm 76. What can I expect?

Slow down Grandpa, you've got at least a decade to go yet. LOL (Maybe!) 75% of Appeals at the CAVC (The Court) are in fact Remanded; some Joint some not.

The BVA will most probably in about Sixty days, forward direction for Your C-File to go "down below" to Regional or such; which technically allows "evidence";

from "missing file" or whatever, PLUS You "may" have that Evidence Window open!?? To Submit anything new or material NOT in your record. FYI; The BVA has Two Years;

see " 16 to 29 months' online their website; va.gov/ benefits etc..I'm 74, my Appeal is two times in length than your's; 14 v/s 7.

You should speak to your attorney about that, he should know.

You probably dont want to file anything, until you discuss it with your attorney.

When they send u a letter stating u can submit new evidence.

This will let u no who is working it the appeal management or the regional office.

I would send a statement than asking and telling them u are 75. 

This will advance your cases ask lawyer to write the letter if that make u feel better.

DNT just think they will automatically do it. It should have been advance now by your age.
