Question

Hello Everyone

I received a call on Wednesday from the law firm that is representing me and they told me that they had just finished my HLR with the Waco RO. I wanted to know does anyone know about how long it will take to get a decision after the HLR is done. I look forward to  your replies and have a great weekend and everyone be safe.

Your attorney would be in a much better position to answer this very valid question.

Is there a decision pending on ebenefits/va.gov?

Sometimes, several signatures are required, and this is always additional delays.  This usually happens if its  a "large retro" over 25k.

While the short answer is "no one knows", I will attempt a WAG:

If your attorney was accurate, and the claim is done (multiple signatures not needed), then you could have a decision with money..in 1-2 months..perhaps even less.

However, if you are retired military, it usually takes a DFAS audit, which can add another 6 months.
