Director Elmore said this about (the movie, Unprescribed, link below)

Quote

Amid the opioid crisis and the loss of nearly 22 veterans a day to suicide, an increasing number of warfighters are ditching prescription drugs in favor of medical marijuana for PTSD and other trauma. We've been told that pot is bad, it's a gateway drug, only to learn we've been systematically lied to through government controlled propaganda. Despite government push back, experts like Dr. Sue Sisley continue to seek the answer to the age-old question, 'is marijuana safe?'Steve Ellmore

This was "enlightening".    I watched it on Amazon Prime, it could well be available (also free) on others such as Netflix, Hulu, etc.

Dr. Sisley opines that "only 2" drugs are actually approved to treat PTSD, but, most of us know that the VA prescribes many other drugs, too.

And, at least one Veteran points out that MANY OF THE DRUGS VA PRESCRIBES have a side effect of suicidal ideations.  One can wonder if This practice has anything to do with the high number of Veteran suicides.   This is troubling.
