LHI tomorrow

Rate this question

Riplip

Question

Well I have my C&P tomorrow at LHI about my Meniere's claim. Should be an adventure. Going to a place that doesn't specialize in anything close to what I'm being examined for. All the new rating and nightmares I hear from everyone. I have to drive 1 hour and 20 minutes to a company that has another office 20 mins from me. I almost just quit the claim and left well enough alone but I think thats what they want. I hope I get a person that listens and reads all my doctors notes. I'll check ebenefits later today to see if I get denied before i even have my examine like last time lol.

Filled out with what? You aren't the examiner, and you can't sign it. Your private doctor might do that for (and shouldn't- OIG looks at these, too) you but an examiner won't.

I do recommend that you bring a blank dbq to see if your examiner is asking questions pertaining to the dbq.

Bring all supporting documents. Whether or not the examiner wii review or consider it, atleast you have supporting documents.

If they don't follow the DBQ and answer all the questions we send it back to them to do it the correct way. They already know what questions to ask- they are on the DBQ. If you want something to refer to so you know what to expect make sure you download the correct version- many on the internet are old forms and dont have the same language or questions on them. Get them from the VA site.

I suggest you don't piss off the examining doctor or question their authority.  Even if they are an incompetent they have the power and you don't.  Just go along with the process and cooperate.  You can take notes and ask some questions but you got to watch their egos.  If you challenge them they will probably whack you.  This is where getting an IMO/IME is important. You get medical evidence to rebut their evidence.  Arguments don't work with these guys at the VA.  Evidence is what works and you can create your own with help from your doctors.  Be ready to appeal VA decisions.  When I was trying to get TDIU I had to appeal every single VA decision which were based on VA C&P exams.  They had their chicken shit doctors and I had my board certified doctors.
