What would you do? C/P QTC medical?

I just received two letters  from QTC Medical. They never contacted me by phone to set up any appointments.  Yet they have scheduled two appointment in a local strip mall. I called them and told them I would not attend any appointments, they did not call me and if they had I would have told them I do not do appointments with VA contractors. They always screw something up, and takes a year  or more to get a copy of the exam. I told them if the va wants me to do an appointment the va needs to call me and set it up at the local VA. No more contractors for me.  Also he wanted more personal information from me, and I would not give him anything except the account number on the letter and my name. He said he had to know my date of birth and all kinds of stuff or he could not help me. I said your not getting any more personnal information. I don't know you and I don't put out information.  I am really Pis@ed abnout this garbage. Now to write the va and tell then. I don't have any idea what the exam is for and the paperwork says nothing, which is another problem with the contractors. What would youi do.

I hate to say it been through the same thing.

I learned that they send the file back to va it sit for 30 days then they will send it back out to the contractor again.

They did this to me for 6 months. 3 different contractors 

There is a form they we have been talk about on the post all these change at the VA.

I would upload the info from it if you feel you have the evidence in your file.

I would also put in the complaint with the white hotline this was the only way I got a phone call from anyone.

In my case I had to withdraw the remand Because they were holding my court remand with it.

I am now at the court and my lawyer is fighting it.

Saying I put in many statement asking the VA to address my case with no exam.

I uploaded all my statements they became part of my record.

Good luck I really don't like all this contractor exams stuff

You can have a VSO with VBMS look into your record and see what the exams are for. I know where I am that the VA hospital does not do C&P exams anymore as that takes treatment time away from patients.

Why do ppl keep telling veterans the VA hospital doesn't do comp exams.

They have not got rid of the comp and pension department in the VA hospital.

Call they will transfer you there it has nothing to do with treating other ppl.

First the contract exams are for veterans who didn't live near VA hospital.

It wasn't to be used to tell or try to have veterans travel hrs away for exams

We are all frustrated with the VA system on how they operate today. Personally, I do think that the VA is telling vets that they do not conduct c&p exams anymore, I think that the are overwhelmed. By census report, how many military vets are still alive today? How many WWII Vets, how many Vietnam Era Vets, Gulf War Vets? Lots of us. How many needs treatment, and now how many claims? 

I do agree, the system sucks, but we all know that it's a money problem now. 

It's a shame. I was reading that military recruitment is at its lowest right now. Why is that? Well our future warriors see how their elder vets gotten treated, long deployments and denied disabilities. Hmmm.
