Post a clear title like ‘Need help preparing PTSD claim’ or “VA med center won’t schedule my surgery” instead of ‘I have a question.

Knowledgeable people who don’t have time to read all posts may skip yours if your need isn’t clear in the title.I don’t read all posts every login and will gravitate towards those I have more info on.

Use paragraphs instead of one massive, rambling introduction or story.Again – You want to make it easy for others to help. If your question is buried in a monster paragraph, there are fewer who will investigate to dig it out.
Leading too:Post straightforward questions and then post background information.
Examples:-
Question A. I was previously denied for apnea – Should I refile a claim?

Just got rated for prostate cancer due to burn pits for a six month period of 100%. I am a gulf war veteran(2004-2005) diagnosed and treated for cancer in 2015 until present. I need help with the following statement ( Can someone explain the deferred part).
"Service Connection for prostate cancer ( burn pits) is granted with an evaluation of 100 percent effective August 11, 2022. Deferred for entitlement to a higher evaluation."
Cavet: My claim is still open and is in evidence gathering stage. I have received my retro also. No where on this decision letter does it mention presumptive or PACT ACT. Thanks for any input. I did this claim without the assistance of a VSO.
