I had my C&P in east orange Nj now what do i do is there someone i can call to find out what is going on. Sorry i am a newb at this . Or do i just check the mail box everyday till i get a letter

in my experience in the past 5 years all you can do now is wait, it normally takes anywhere from 2 weeks to 3 months before you will see a letter from the VARO with the rating decision. Calling them every day does NOT help, this is the hardest part of the claims process waiting to see what they are going to do, all I can tell you is to wait and see what they say and if the SC the problem is the percentage right and do you agree with it, if not then you file a Notice of Disagreement and explain why you think it is wrong, I flied my claim in Dec 2002 and had to keep appealing until April 2006 before I got the rating I deserved, although there are some other issues they have ignored and they are still on appeal to BVA as the VARO has taken a we ain't awarding this claim no matter what evidence you submit. I finally gave up trying to work it out locally, when they resort to flat out lying, you are never going to get justice at this level, time to move to the next. The waiting is hard but normally it's a matter now of either yes and how much or no, and you should see something within 3 months. good luck

I suggest that you write to the Privacy Act Officer (Or Records Access officer) at E. ORange VAMC for a copy of the C & P results.

Also best to get copies of all your VA medical records and private records as well as your SMRs.
