Question
USCG CWO4
So I will be scheduled for a TKR in the next few weeks, there is just nothing more that they can do to repair it. I will be going to a private Doctor, only because he did two of my previous knee surgeries. I already talked to the VA hospital and was told as soon as I have a date for surgery to call them so that they can get a change to my rating. I know that you go to 100% for a year after a TKR, but what happens after that? Just a reevaluation?
Also if you have had this procedure and have any advice for a speedy recovery I would welcome that! I am also looking forward to being able to walk and stand up without grunting in pain!
Take Care
Bob
