  1. So I wake up ready to cuss out the construction crew. It turns out the sawing is Gander... http://soundcloud.com/lonnie-hodge/sounds-from-wednesday-night/s-84ASJ

  2. Today was National Day of Listening. Ask Great Questions. Share Great Stories. People after my own heart ;-) http://nationaldayoflistening.org/

  3. "There are two sides in war: the living and the dead" Earon Human Davis

  4. #iwillprotectyou

This isn't an anti-Trump statement on my part. This is a pro America statement. I took an oath to protect and defend the Constitution. A Constitution written by immigrants.

  5. 3:27. Seems the visiting construction workers had an altercation. I woke to yelling and serious sounding death threats. This had been such a quiet place here in the burbs. Blood all over the entrance floor. It is a terrible remodeling job. I hate red.

  6. A week of stress so rough my chest aches. Knowing they made a decison and not knowing what it is--been brutal....

  7. And more fun. This is the way to wake up in the morning: Full metal laughter

  8. Anna Karenina was beautiful. Lots of people walked out. It is not your typical period piece. It's Tom Stoppard at his best... ...an artistic wonder.

  9. Charlie Brown lovers.

Listen to Jon Grayson on overnight America.

  10. Give a gifted filmmaker Carte Blanche to visually translate a magical novel about what saves us and you get a wonderful thanksgiving movie: Life of Pi Really beautiful. Gander watched most of it as well fascinated by the animals. Just left Boston Market ( packed) carrying a real pie for the other displaces residents where I live. Thanksgiving can be a little lonely.

  11. Good New, Bad News They decided to postpone the surgery until the 29th. At that time they will also do a very sophisticated, space age bone graft procedure and extract two teeth that were the result botched root canals in China. My surgeon is incredibly nice and really thorough. He is the son of a Shaolin style Kung Fu and Kenpo* master. We know some of the same people in martial arts. Two attending professors are supervising and looking at procedures that will extend into next the middle...

  12. Good news for a change: they found the army ranger who was missing in Minnesota. Thank you all for helping to spread word.

  13. Got my biopsy back. It was a neurofibroma ( a tumor on a nerve: that's why it was painful) and was benign! Tomorrow at 7 AM ( gotta leave at 5): a new kind of bone graft to repair damage done by a Chinese dentist. Thursday: mashed potatoes and gravy through a straw. Lol Actually, I'll be at Life of Pi if I can function.

  14. Great day at VALOR/Safe Humane

  15. Had dinner tonight with the hospitality team where I stay. They are great people who take a ton of customer service abuse daily. They had great fun teasing me tonight about the holes in my American cultural cache. I told them I only knew a TV show or band if Spotify featured it or the Chinese bootlegged it. And I watched whole seasons in a single sitting so don't expect me to remember much. And all the US movies in LZ are in Chinese with no subtitles. Going to start getting more up on H...

  16. Had lunch with a former Israeli tank commander whose family in Tel Aviv has been under heavy rocket attack from Hamas. #peaceplease

  17. Had to go to the ER today. Sutures caused lesions on my tongue that became infected. Pain doubled. Can't eat. I want to amputate it. I'm mentally in a wonderful place. Need my body to catch up. Went to the Naval Base. Nice hospital these active duty guys have here...

  18. Happy Bird Day everyone....I will be having Chinese noodles and tea, but thinking turkey.....

  19. Having just returned from WV

  20. Headed to the Chinese Consulate in the morning. Putting in for a new visa ( old one ran out of gas)... Despite all the recent madness I would love to be there for Chinese New Year! Cross your fingers..

  21. Here's a cool piece of Veterans Day trivia: Looking up Gander in Google I discovered my mutt comes up second to a Hong Kong war hero ( real one) who was also a rescue dog: Gander was a Newfoundland dog posthumously awarded the Dickin Medal, the "animals' VC", in 2000 for his deeds in World War II,[1] the first such award in over 50 years.[2] HideMilitary service Gander, initially a family pet named Pal, accidentally scratched a child's face with his paw. Worried that he would be forced to...

  22. Here's the deal and it is a good one: Insurance replaced my broken Mac. They gave me a 13" MacBook Pro I will sell it for a song ( a rich broadway tune, but a song ) so I can buy a more travel friendly Air. It's 8GB and has like 10 hours of use. It has a loss or damage policy that transfers with it. DM me if you have an interest.

  23. Hmmm Have to return to the consulate tomorrow. The new rules are strange: insurance info, work info, letter of invitation... Two young guys ahead of me got by with a fake itinerary and bogus hotel reservation but l will do it by the book... Jeez...
