Thanks Gulfvet. I am already medically retired, and my VA claims has already been sent to Winston-Salem and pending status - gathering evidence.
If your % is not what you want yes you can. Then once out go to the VA and file for VA comp and go to the VA and or the base for your healthcare.
Thanks!

Thank you. Also, while on terminal leave, X-ray and MRI showed problems with my L5 and S1 of my back causing severe pain on my lower back and right glute that radiates down to my right foot. Will I be able to add this to my claim? And most important, can I go back to active duty status for treatment since it happened while still on my terminal leave. I medically retired with the O3E pay grade. Any assistance/guidance will be greatly appreciated.
ckc,
Welcome.
I am moving your post to the Claims/Benefits Forum.

I was found unfit through the MEB process. Before the PEB findings, the head physician found me fit and continue before he transferred to another state as civilian physician. However, when I saw another physician for a routine visit, he said that he'll do the NARSUM. Couple months ago from this writing, I am medically retired. I am O3E with over 21-years of combined service, and would like to know if I can appeal the decision.

I have been medically retired with the following:
30% PDRL
Currently collecting retirement pay
Has 21-years; 10-months overall service (including guard, reserve, and active duty)
Has Over 8-years total active duty
VA claims has been submitted and need to have exam rescheduled
Current status of claim is - Evidence Gathering
Has an eBenefit account established
Questions
1. Will I be issued 20-year letter since I have over 21-years of good years?
2. Will I need to file for the CRDP when I turned 60-years or will DFAS will automatically qualify me since I have over 21-years?
3. My claim is assigned to the Winston-Salem and call the toll free 1000 is swamped. How else can I contact VA to reschedule the appointment that I missed for an exam?
4. What other benefits can I qualify for?
Any assistance/guidance will be greatly appreciated.

I don't qualify because I am medically retired. However, since I have over 21-years combined service, I will qualify when I turned 60-years old. According to a DFAS Rep, it will be automatically done (CRDP) in the system, but will see. Thanks.
