Hello everyone. I just turned 31 last month, and I spent 8 years in the US Army Reserves. (2 Active, 4 Reserve Drilling, 2 Inactive Ready Reserve) I spent almost a year in Baghdad (Camp Slayer) back in Apr 03 to Feb 04 on various MCTs running missions all over Iraq. I was activated and attached to a unit out of Georgia in the early days of Feb 03. Got my REFRAD in Oct 04. Honorable Discharge Aug 09. 100% SC effective 1 Sept 13. Retro to 1 Aug 11. Working on a 04 retro. Great to be here.

I heard they were getting a lot done as management is furloughed and they can finally get stuff cranked out w/o being interrupted by BS from the bosses.

I read that yesterday as well 11bangbang. I just hope I can get my retro before then. My 100% was effective 1 Sept. 2013 and retro to 1 Aug. 2011. I had to prove that I could handle finances and stuff like that. Dozen letters and a psych report sent 2 days ago. What are my chances?

Took them a decade to give me my 100% and then it only retrod to 2011. Withheld my retro until I prove I can handle my finances, which I just did 2 days ago. I hope they can get back to me before the whole shithouse really goes up in flames. (shutdown into November) I did get my first check last day of August.
