  1. Hello, glad to see this forum, I stumbled on it last night and am reading many things that I was not aware of. I have a laundry list of disabilities that have lead me to 100 percent. It has taken since 1993 to get it and I was called and told yesterday by my VA rep that I was awarded 100 percent due to a review of all of my disabilities ( I have MS, ITP-post spleenectial-ya they took it out, arthritis in lower back and both knees, mood disorder-they are callin it PTSD, and basic depression). I currently work as a City Carrier for the USPS. I was in the Marines for 4 and in the Army for 4 more. I bought my eight years back and currently have 24 years with that 8 that I bought (now they are saying that I have to wave my retirement to have those years count toward my retirement from the Post Office..... . They didn't tell me that when I bought them)

They medically retired me in 1993 and put me on the PDRL at 30 percent. Took me three years to get it up to 50 percent, then one year or so to get it to 90 percent. I was at 90 percent from about 1997 until yesterday. They have stated that they are going to back date it back to last December when I initially filed for my increases. I am currently waiting for my packet to come through the mail and then I can see what type of 100 percent they granted me.

I do have a question, I am wondering if I should work or not. Now that I am at 100 percent (depending on what kind of 100 percent), will I loose my rating if I continue to work doing what I do and making what I make?
