Hello, I noticed on e-benefits that a decision has been made on my current VA claim and a decision notification has been sent. However, some of the
disabilities that I have not been rated yet and have the word "deferred" next to them. Can anyone explain to me what this means with regards to my claim?
Note: My disability percentage increased from 30% to 80% so I know at least a partial decision has been made I am just curious about the other disabilities
labeled "deferred". But hey, I guess deferred is better than denied. Thanks in advance for your assistance.
Retro Back Pay
in VA.gov Questions (formerly E-Benefits)

To rate retro back pay does your claim have to have been in the appeal process. For example.. I just got 70% for PTSD for my current claim I submitted 5/25/17
However, I submitted a claim for PTSD in 11/15/2010 and was denied. I did not appeal that decision so that claim was closed.
Do I rate retro back pay and if so, for which date?
Thanks
