Hello all,
Thank you so much for all of the great content on the forums. Pretty amazing amount of information.
I received an Honorable Discharge in February of 2007 from the USCG. I went to the the VA clinic on Monday the 15th of March because I couldn't handle my depression anymore. From 2004 to 2010 my depression, anxiety, and mood swings became more and more unbearable. Today I went back to the Boise clinic and they diagnosed me as bipolar. I am unsure as to what if anything I need to do as far as SC stuff goes. I currently am SC w/ 0%. The people at the VA center were very nice and I am already on medication, so i'm happy. Just don't know if there is anything I should be doing? Any information or suggestions would be much appreciated!
Thanks
Matt.

Hi,
I went to the VA clinic for the 1st time on Monday the 15th. I was Honorably Discharged in February of 2007. The service at the clinic was much better than expected. Anywho, I have been diagnosed bi-polar and am wondering if I should file a claim for disability. My severe depression started in 2005 and has recently come unbearable. Well, thanks to everyone that contributes to this site. It's a great resourse!
Thanks.
