Just Starting A Claim.....need Help!

Hello to All

I know there is no such thing as a dumb question, but as I look at all this VA stuff it really is confusing...

I will be putting together my claim in the next couple of weeks, and I know I will need all the help I can get..

So I will start of with a few questions only.

Question 1...What exactly is meant by pyramiding???

Question 2. Heart Issues) I had a heart attack, received stents, then ended up with 4 way bypass. Am I only allowed to file for one diagnosis under (cardiovascular system)

Question 3 (Lung Issues) I have asthma, copd, emphysema, and sleep apnea. Again am I only allowed to file one diagnosis under (Respiratory)

How does the VA determine which one to rate, or do I have to choose it?
