On Women Veterans Recognition Day, June 12th, Women Veterans Alliance is partnering with VA’s Office of Connected Care for a Facebook Live discussion showcasing how VA’s tools and resources support and empower women Veterans in their health and wellness journeys!
During this joint event, VA and Women Veterans Alliance will hold a live discussion about some of the connected care tools and resources available to support women Veterans, including telehealth visits, Whole Health, My HealtheVet, mental health apps like Mindfulness Coach and PTSD Coach, and more. The event will feature VA experts Cathy Cruise, MD, National Lead Synchronous Telehealth, VHA Office of Connected Care, Christina Armstrong, Ph.D. Office of Connected Care, Dana Glenn, MD, Women’s Health Medical Director, Tampa VA, and will be moderated by Melissa A. Washington, Navy Veteran, CEO & Founder, Women Veterans Alliance. The event will include a live Q&A portion answering questions from the audience.
