  3. I have a appeal that was remanded also it was sent to A M C and now it back to the B V A

befor my claim moved to the A M C I was able to show cause to have my motion to advance the appeal on the board's docket granted

so off to the A M C in Feb 2011 and in Aug 2011 it went back to the B V A and i called the B V A to find out any info with not much luck i was told that my letter may mean that it with a Judge. So what dose it realy mean to be with a Judge?

  4. i have a AMC claim a start date with AMC of Feb 2011 I have a motion to advance with the BVA

my claim os off to be rated with a chance it was to be done on 25 june 11 that date has come and gone

also i was told ina letter that it would be done "must be handled in an expeditious manner".

so what dose this really mean?

  5. HAS YOU CLAIM BEEN FINAL?

    Hi All,

The VET I am helping received a letter from the DVA in Washington, DC which states: "This is the ruling on the motion received in this office on July 28, 2010 to advance your case on the Board of Veterans Appeals (Board's) docket. This motion was submitted by you on July 25, 2010." It goes on to state: "Appeals must be considered in docket number order, but may be advanced if good or sufficient cause is shown. Good or sufficient cause has been shown and thus the motion to advance the appeal on the Board's docket is granted." This is this VET's CUE Claim.

What does this mean? Does it mean that the DVA in Washington believe that Clear and Unmistakable Error was committed and that they are sending it on to a Judge so that he/she can comfirmed or denied CUE?

Thanks in advance for your replies to this question.

  6. SHE,

The AMC takes forever, 12- 36 months.

You might want to start this as a new topic as this topic

    is about 3 years old.

how do i start a post?

also they state " this claim must be afforded expeditious treatment. The law requires that all claims that are remanded by the board of veterans' appeals or by the united states court of appeals for veterans claims for additional development or other appropriate action must be handled in an expeditious manner"

so it should be much quicker than 12-36 months?
