[What Does "totally And Permanently Disabled" Mean?]

I first want to say Thank You for the creator of this website. It almost feels like we are a huge family. Now getting back to my question. I heard through the grape vine that in order to permanently keep your 100% without it being lowered you have to have it for 20 yrs. Is this correct? I was granted 100% for PTSD/MST and 30% for Trigeminal Neuralgia back in Jan 2013. While I was reading my paper work it stated the I was totally and permanently disabled. Does this mean that I do not have to worry about it being down graded to a lower percentage? It also states that I am unemployable. Someone at DAV told me that they had never seen a person being 100% totally and permanent disable and also unemployable at the same time. Anyway if someone could just please tell me how the totally and permanently disabled works I would appreciate it.

Hello,

If you are 100% P/T you can have all student loans discharged and the money that you paid into will be refunded retroactive to the date of your permanent and total rating date. I had $80,000 discharged and received a refund of approximately $2.50 because I did not make any payments.

I have been diagnosed with OSA, but was denied Sleep Apnea secondary to PTSD. Can you give me some advice on winning a claim for SLEEP APNEA?

Anyone out there in hadit land gotten sleep apnea re-rated P&T?

Just so I'm not confusing the issue, I'm 50% for OSA and on a CPAP. On my original claim, the RO stated the condition could improve, therefore I am subject to future exams.

what I would like is the future exam now and to delete the "could improve"

Okay, what I really want is 100% P&T schedular for the Chapter 35 benefits for my daughter (nursing school), and possibly my son (special needs job training).

and on that note...do I need to ask for P&T on top of everthing, or will 100% schedular with nothing subject to future exams/improvement automatically give the P&T and the Chapter 35?

IF A VETERAN IS SCHEDULAR 100% CAN THAT PERSON GO BACK INTO VOC RE-HAB TO GET A MASTERS DEGREE ??

I ALREADY RECEIVED AN UNDERGRADUATE DEGREE I'M CURRENTLY WAITING FOR MY NEXT RATING DECISION TO COME DOWN CURRENTLY AT 90% AND I'M VERY WORRIED. MY VIETNAM FRIEND TELLS ME TO CHILL OUT I HAVE ONLY 10% MORE TO GO FOR SCHEDULAR 100% REALLY WORRIED
