My husband was recently awarded A&A at $4194 per month. My question is how do we determine what level of A&A he was given? Nowhere in the VA letter does it state how they determined the amount. He was being paid at the statuatory houseband rate with SMC K for loss of a creative organ. We also have one child in school over 18. I am having a hard time reading the rate tables as I do not understand what the "parent" means on the tables. Any help would be greatly appriecated.
