Spoken like a true raterAlso, it could be that the other things you claimed (depending on what they are) may not have been found ion the service treatment records or in medical records within a year of discharge. Unless we have proof of the condition, be it in your service records or some kind of medical documentation showing u developed a condition within a year of discharge, we ordinarily don't schedule an exam. Another reason could be that you will be scheduled for other exams but those were the only docs available for that day. For instance, some VAMCs don't have enough psychiatrists on hand, so the mental exam can be filed way before or after you get the notification for the other physical exams.

No, I havent applied for it. What paperwork should I submit. I did apply for SSI/SSDThe OP posted,
"I have just receive word that my rate has increase to 80%. This is where I believe I need to be."
-
It took 18 mos. and it was for PTSD/Bipolar at 70% and GERD for 10%.

I have just receive word that my rate has increase to 80%. This is where I believe I need to be. It was a long time coming, but somehow I made it. Hang in there guys.

Thank you for telling what a troll is. Base off your definition I'm not a troll. When you are 100% P&T, you got all you can get, so I believe my comment was on point.A troll is someone who stirs things up just for the sake of stirring them up.
Please don't be disrespectful on this forum; there are a lot of hurting people here.
I understand that you may be one of them and lashing out from frustration from with own struggles.
Just try to put yourself in someone else's place when making comments.

What's a "troll"?Sounds like a troll - I'm not falling into an argument against your post
as it detracts from helping VBA claimants.

I received my C&P exam and all my doctors state that the VA made an erroneous decision in my claim in 2004. It states that I was missed diagnosed and that it is least as likely than not that I was PTSD/Bipolar in service. Will I be back paid until this time?

What was the outcome?

I believe this can't be answered by anyone here, unless we see the claim. I don't believe you are giving us the full story. VA can't keep your claim in review for 20 years and not submit to you a decision. There has to be legal action that you can take if that was to happen. I believe you should add compulsive liar to your claim. That would be an instant approval for you. Don't bank on $638k. You better off robbing Bill Gates or Oprah.

If you are 100% P&T, you are hurting other veterans who are waiting for their claim to be look at. Leave that be and move out the way for other vets. to get what they deserve. Stop being so selfish and foolish with other people time.

Lamont,
They may yet schedule you for more C & P exams.
You can contact the Release Of Information Office to get a copy of your C & P report and get an idea how it sounds.
You can scan and post it here for opinions (but be sure to blank out your name, SSN etc)
You're making progress!
This may be dumb to ask, but where is the release of records? My regional office or where I did my exam?

I had my C&P done on 18 Novemebr and now it is 3 weeks later. How long will it take to receive a decision? Also, I was seen for 2 things listed in my claim, why not all the items listed in my claim? Things I was seen for is what I already have service connect. Does anyone no why I wasnt seen for all that was in my claim?

I WENT IN TODAY FOR MY C&P EXAM. LIST ON MY CLAIM WAS A NUMBER OF ITEMS BUT MY C&P EXAM ONLY SEEN ME FOR 2 COMPLAINTS. DOES THIS MEAN THE VA WILL NOT RATE ME FOR THE OTHER COMPLAINTS? I WAS ONLY SEEN FOR GERD AND MENTAL ILLNESS (BIPOLAR, ANXIETY, DEPRESSION, AND MANIA).

I have my C&P Exam on tomorrow 11.17.11. The first portion is from 9-12 (Physical) and the second portion is 1-2pm (mental). How do I prepare?

i have been fire 20 times in 7 years so i gave up on ever working againg so I only get SSDI and 30% VA that all but the VA told me it not my PTSD that doning that no I should say the Admin said that but the hosp part of the VA told me " I should never never look or think about looking for work ever againg for my GAF score is 37 dont know what that is but when i grad from High scool I had a GPA over with three AP class and other classed was a 3.7 GPA
I believe a GAF score of 37 means Some impairment in reality testing or communication (e.g., speech is at times illogical, obscure, or irrelevant) OR major impairment in several areas, such as work or school, family relations, judgment, thinking, or mood (e.g., depressed man avoids friends, neglects family, and is unable to work; child frequently beats up younger children, is defiant at home, and is failing at school).
