Now there are 4 opinions/DBQs
Doctors treating me for years say PTSD, MDD, GAD and Social Phobia. Filed DBQ saying such. Primary, PTSD. 1st C&P, all was confirmed, PTSD as primary, doctor put at 100%. 2nd C&P, talked to me for 10 mins, filed DBQ saying nothing wrong with me. VA rejected saying basically, bullshit. 3rd C&P, done by just review of records./files, DBQ says MDD. My question, and I know it will just be opinions, how do you think it will be ruled? Granted, benefit of doubt "should" go to me, but how often does it? Will they grant, or punt and I have to go back to judge? How often, in this situation, do you think they grant without having to appeal ag…

Restless Leg Syndrome DBQ weird
Hi, I would like to know if anyone has experience with completing a C&P for restless leg syndrome using the PERIPHERAL NERVES CONDITIONS dbq. This is mine and I am not a doctor. But the examiner put NO on all items, then at the bottom, he wrote RLS is treated with Gabapentin. Doesn't that sound contradictory? It was denied for service connection. He also put it was diagnosed in 23, when it was 2017. It was a confusing C&P for me because I twitch and move a lot, but don't have like loss of feeling in my limbs so it was hard to answer his questions.

unnecessary C&P exam?
I have been seeing a doctor for the past 2 years. I submitted a fully developed claim with a dbq & nexus from my doctor who is a specialist of the body system. All things needed are submitted and from my personal doctor who treats me for said conditions. is it normal for the VA to still schedule you a c&p exam? Thats exactly what they did and I'd imagine the only purpose is to deny your claim.

Why another C&P?
Filed appeal 12/2019 using lawyer. Finally in front of judge 07/2023. Remanded to RO to do a C&P(was requested when filed appeal but denied by VA) . C&P done by VES Sept 2023 and mid-Sept 2023 went to decision phase. Assigned to St Petersburg RO from National Work Queue early last week. On 12th a request was put in by whoever has the case for ANOTHER C&P. This time with QTC. Why would another C&P be need so soon after last one? Fishing for someone to disagree with doctors who have been treating me since 2010 and the doc from last C&P so they can deny? What reason would they have? DBQ was well put together, all questions answered with good d…

PROSTATE & BLADDER CANCER
I had my prostate removed in 2019 but I guess not soon enough. I have been getting PSA tests every six months since. Each test shows the antigens slowing increasing. A community doctor has been treating me since 2019. In 2021 I started urinating frank blood. It was determined I had a bladder tumor that had broken off of the bladder wall. Same doctor now treating me for both prostate and bladder cancer. I have had a cystoscopy done every 3-4 months since. I am now scheduled for my 7th bladder surgery in the last 3 years. The same day I was told about the most recent bladder tumor. I returned home to be told I will be scheduled for another C&P. This I think is my …

Secondary C&P exam but not required to be present?
Does anyone know why they might do this? My husband just retired in Sept after 20 and completed his C&P exams in person at Chalmers a month or so ago. He got email and paper mail notification of a second C&P exam request via QTC. It states he does not need to be travel to the appointment, looks like they’re having a second person review his files without him present. Anyone know why they would do that? Are they trying to get a less favorable opinion?

ptsd C&P review and suggestions please?!
This may be a little long so please bare with me. Background info: In Army from 1998-2001. Had a head injury that resulted in a fracture of my frontal sinus with surgical repair including reconstruction and plate and screws. The injury was the result of a fall off a humvee while setting up antenna in november 2000 (non-combat related). I do not recall whether I was completely knocked unconscious or not. I know that I had a huge gooseegg and very bad headache, but didn't seek medical attention until the following morning after waking up with blood on my pillow from my nosebleed. Once again had surgery next day for this injury. During this time I was also being treate…

C&P Exams
I had a C & P Exam Dec 2023 for my back, knees, debilities and nerve damage. I felt the exam went well and nurse practitioner seem very knowledgeable. I am now going to get a second C & P for my pinch nerve and nerve damage? The only reason I can see is that the VA may be considering disability and just needs to know what percentage my nerve damage is so the can properly rate it? Has anyone else had this happen to then and how did it come out?
