[Benefits being taken away]

I have noticed lately that the VA has been sending out letters to Veterans taking away their benefits. The letter states that the VA feels that the Veteran is getting better. I have talked to numerous Veterans who have received this letter. Is this right ?

I had an appointment six weeks ago with my Physc Doctor, she was out sick and a replacement Doctor came in to see me. She didn't say much and burried her face in the cumputer and asked me if I would be interested in going to a PTSD counseling. I replied sure. She then set me up an appointment. My next appointment four weeks later was with my regular Physc Doctor. I speaking with her I discovered the last Doctor raised my GAF score. I don't get it, that Doctor didn't know anything about my history, I saw her one time and barely spoke. Is this abuse of power ? Or the VA can just screw the Vets whenever ?

I recently inquired at the ss office about this extra benifits that Veterans may have. All they say is it has already been figured in. Is there anyway of actually finding out ?
