  1. Hi everyone, I haven't been on here in years but wanted to get opinions on this topic. I was introduced to Young Living essential oils in March '16 and since then I have gotten off of all of my VA meds that I used for PTSD, headaches, sleeplessness, anxiety, panic attacks, etc. I was on about 10 different prescriptions but when my mom died in Sep '15 of a heart attack which we think stemmed from all of the prescription meds she was on I stopped everything and started looking for more natural ways to do things for me and my daughter. They have helped me tremendously and I am trying to let more and more vets know about this. The person who introduced me to YL is a veteran himself who tried to commit suicide years ago by taking two bottles of Ambien. Thank God he did not die but they realized that the 14 different drugs VA had him on were making him do all the crazy things he was doing. With help from his wife he ditched all 14 va drugs and turned to natural healing with essential oils. He helped me and now I want to help others, too.

  2. Thank you everyone. Yes, not having much confidence with Wacko Waco. Hoping this VSO that I found will be able to help some. He has made it a point to call me at least once a week with what is going on. I go to the Temple VA for care and I also have outside doctors. I really like my PA at the women's clinic but.....I don't think she understands PTSD. Yesterday she told me PTSD was only caused by war and seeing dead bodies. Mine is based on some of that but also from mst. I didn't argue with her just going to let my VSO take all my paperwork and go with it. I've been reading on here for a couple of weeks and y'all seem very knowledgable and caring. I will definitely be sneaking around the forums seeking advice.

    Thanks again!

  3. Just signed on and wanted to say hi to everyone. I retired in 2007 and have been trying to work through the VA system on my own. Not smart as you can see by my 30% (10 back, 10 neck, 10 tinnitus) rating. I finally got the help of a VSO in Waco and hoping he can get this thing moving a little quicker. He seems hopeful so I guess we will see. Patience is definitely a virtue when it comes to dealing with the VA.
