  1. It has been some time since I have been here, and I am back asking for more advice..

Just the other day I was in having a Comp and Pension test with the Dr.

I was asked question after question, after about 2 hours or so, I was still having a time opening up and sharing the major incident.. About that time the Dr, advised me that I will have to come in an take a long written test, and then we will have to talk again.. This is my second C&P, as I was denied and sent in a Notice of Disagreement,, Any idea why I have to take a written test, and meet with the Dr, again.. Any advise..

  2. Thanks all for your advise.. I finally received my increase in compensation of my appeal.. I was increased from 30% to 60% with 4 years back pay. Now I will have time to work on another appeal..

  3. Today I call the 1-800 number and was kinda shocked.. They advised me that the Supplemental Statement of Case, was not a final decesion.. only a suggestion.. Is this really true?

I received the SSOC about a month and a half ago.. nothing since then? I did file an appeal.

But how could anyone really file an appeal, if it appears in the SSOC..A granting decesion?

  4. carlie,

Thanks again... What is a PM section?

As I might of mentioned I have been working on this paperwork alone.. I do not have monies to hire an attorney.

Years ago I filed a claim.. I was granted 20% for a condition, and 0% for another condition... all others were denied.. I did not appeal the 20% rating...

I sent in an appeal and recently received a Supplement Statement of Case.

    On the top of the SSOC it notes Decision;

Evaluation of migraine cephalgia which is currently 10% disabling, is increased to 30% effective__-__-2008 and

Evaluation of old fracture left foot which is currently 0% disabling, is increased to 20% effictive __-__-2008..

SO I have an old rating of 20%...Which I will keep..

My appeal appears as granting me 2 new ratings..

One at 20% and the other one increasing from 10 to 30%.

    Thanks again...

  5. Carlie.

Perhaps I am not explaining myself.. I have been trying to wonder though my claim on my own..

I have an old rating of 20%... I did not appeal this one.

I appealed other conditions and recently received a Supplemental Statement of Case..

This SSOC notes Decision on the top of the page. I have not received anything more for about 3 weeks.. Only this

This note Evaluation which is currently 10% disabling is increased to 30% effective __-__-2008 and

Another Evaluation which is currently 0% disabling is increased to 20% effective __-__- 2008

Thanks so much for you answers.. Will this be more in the 60% rating?

    Many thanks

  6. jvretiredvet.

Thanks so much for your responce.. I believe that my compensation will be increased to 60%.

I have a an old rating of 20%

One one that SSOC notes will increase from 10% to 30%

Another one noted on the SSOC is a new rating for 20%

    And others remain denied..

There is also a note on the SSOC that mentions a back date of __-__-2008.

Is this really true.. Or can it be changed before I get the decision letter?

One the top of the SSOC it states decision..

Any more advice would be greatly appreciated. Many thanks

  7. About a month ago I received a Supplemental Statement of Case..

It noted one of my conditions being increase __-__-2008

It also noted another condition being granted __-__- 2008

    PTSD still remains denied..

I have not received anything since that SSOC?

What do I need to do? Will I be receiving back pay? And when should I be receiving more of a compensation check?

I am trying to finish up my appeal.. However, the failed to mail me to form mentioned.

Any help would be appreciated.. Thank you
