i need some help with my tbi...

 

i was awarded the ptsd since 2012 and have gotten 3rd evaluations, this last one in may was my 4th. two weeks later i went for my tbi c&p.

a letter from the va arrived 2 weeks ago, my ptsd is still at 70 and they award me not zero for tbi. the crazy part is they combined my tbi to my ptsd. instead by it's own.

here is how hey added to my eBenefits:

"PTSD (claimed also as insomnia, memory, psychological, sleep problems, and nightmares) with Traumatic Brain Injury (from 05/28/2014)"

i'm reaching out to see if the va can do this by combining two different claims into one. has anyone has the same experience and what did to win your case on the appeal under which regulation code you used. thank you.

Thank you, I am so glad I found this site. Just filed my paper on 12/2011 and still waiting. Matter of facts I am writing my Stressor letter for my PTSD.

I served the US Navy from 1987 to 1992 and just learn about SCD in 2011. I was in the 1st Persian Gulf War with CAR. Thank you for some of these hints.

I have a question for those of you who may have the answer to this one. I was station at NAS Miramar in the begining and somehow the Medical Department lost my medical record, everything. And they could find it, majority of my claims were in the lost section.

Does anyone ever experience this problem as well? What did you have to do to make th eclaim stick? Or it is a lost cause?

Also, i am trying to find a sample of a PTSD Stressor Letter.
