  1. Artillery... I am sure with your MOS being what it was... you saved us 11B many many times... You deserve comp brother.

    ?????

An 11Bravo says thanks for saving us many times and a the response is "go learn what it is, before you open your ignorant mouth"?

I served in 6/37th FA and last I knew the "fire support specialist" was an integral part of the effective delivery of rounds on target. But what do I know I'm only a paper pusher.

I guess you couldn't detect the sarcasm. Infantry only respect infantry. They don't care that many different MOS's are outside the wire.

Maybe he was being sincere. If he was, then i apologize.

Well actually there were many occasions where a Infantry squad couldn't kick a door in. Oh but i put my foot through it. I got in a fight with a couple of infantry guys in the barracks and knocked them both out.... Nothing but little boys in pools of their own blood. The infantry guys i came across were just trying to prove something or they were too dumb to do anything else. Oh and i was a forward observer. Go learn what that is, before you open your ignorant mouth.

  3. I was given a rating of 10% TBI last year. I Appealed my PTSD decision and the regional office reduced my TBI to 0%. So it is still on record, but it isn't calculated into my overall percentage. They said the reason was that the symptoms of TBI and PTSD were similar. The 10% TBI rating did not affect my overall rating of 80%. Has this happened to anyone else?

  4. I'm new to the forum, but i have been doing research here for a couple of years. I was in the Army for five years and I got out in 2008. I was in Baghdad for 15 months. I'm currently at 80%. 50% PTSD, 30% migraines, 10% knees, 10% back, 10% foot. I appealed my PTSD decision and they removed my 10% TBI rating because the symptoms are similar to PTSD. Should i appeal this?

Last week i had another c&p rating for an increase in ptsd and I'm waiting for the result. Tomorrow I have a c&p for unemployable. I have had several jobs since i got out and i have been fired from them all. The last one ended up with a guy in a coma for four days and me being charged with a felony assault. The charges were later dropped, but I could have handled to situation better. This event caused me to withdraw from the public. I've been going to school since I got out because it is much easier than trying to hold a job. My disability and the money i get from school is enough to survive.

I'm not really sure what my question is. I'm sure i won't get a response before my c&p tomorrow, but any advice would be useful. I have no idea what to expect.I'l have more information once i get my decision letter. I've been trying to figure this out for several years and I have been able to help five other vets get their benefits (they had no idea va disability existed).

    Thanks for any help.
