  1. Hello all, we are very new to this process and don't know much about how it works yet. We are from Washington State. My husband just had his first CMP exam last Friday, we were told that back in 2004 while activated in reserve unit his medical file is noted that he should have had a CPAP machine. No one told us about this until last Friday. He was active Navy then went to Army Reserves. There's a lot to this including his commander saying he was only trying to get out of being in Iraq. My question is if its noted in his file from 2004 is there any way to get back pay to that date? Or will they only pay from the date we filed his claim to current date? Thank you for any help you may be to us, and have a great day. Mrs. B
