Stretch, AMC gave me a SC rating of 50% for the win on the BVA appeal and in the letter it also included the next higher rating if conditions are met for those. Aside from that letter, I have not received anything else. They also included the effective date of rating going back to Nov. 2009. The effective date is correct to my estimation. I had originally thought this letter was generated from the VARO but realized it was sent from AMC. I have no experience with AMC and unsure of how things would develop. The award letter was dated Feb. 3, 2015. Thanks for your reply.

J, I was wondering if the AMC will send an award letter or will they send my file back to VARO and RO send out the award letter. I just don't know what to expect or how this process works. Thanks for your reply.

J, Will I be receiving an award letter from the AMC or will they send my file to the VARO and the RO send an award letter? From what I have been reading, AMC is the Black Hole. I have not seen any updates on Ebenefits. I called the 800 number which was suppose to be for AMC and the person I talked to said it was just able to give out info on where my file was and no other information provided. I'm just confused and this has been a long road not only for me but from reading other posts it has been for many other Vets. Thanks again.

Just received letter stating my claim was granted and was rated from AMC. Been looking on the forum to see if anyone had problems after decision was made. I couldn't find any post that was related to my question. Apologize if it was asked before. My case has been open since November 2009 and finalized January 2015 at the BVA level. As of February 3, 2015, AMC finalized the rating and I just received that letter. What can I expect now. I'm new to this process. Thanks in advance for any info.
