I can't wait for my husband to retire so we can leave the country who doesn't want us anymore and will do nothing for us anymore. A country that is willing to cheat its veterans. So shameful. Yet, if I live in another country because of my age, they are willing to help me. Because of my ailments, they're willing to at least try to take care of me. The doctors aren't ugly to me. We can get free medications. Now I understand why so many veterans leave America and go to a different country. I will feel sad when I leave. All I ever wanted to do since I was 18 was join the Army, just like. My Dad. I had to wait until I lost enough weight to get in.  Funny the only person that kept me here was my very good and dear friend Snowy Owl. She died. It was very sad for me. When I got my back pay, I gave her enough money to finish building her house. This was so they didn't have to live in that cabin with no rooms and an outhouse! Not kidding! She finally gets on her feet and she gets her disability rating and a few months after that she died. She didn't even have a chance to finish spending her money. So sad.
