Greetings All,
Just to let everyone know I just recently discovered the VA might be recognizing Testicular Cancer. Though I am not certain as of yet, it seems, from reading here and other links that there is a possibility. I served in Vietnam for 3 years, Korea, Thailand, Okinawa, Guam and Japan. I served as a pilot and had a Right Lateral Orchiectomy and Retro Peritoneal Lymph Node Dissection with lifelong complications from both operations. I have recently applied for VA benefits. But, from reading so much on this subject and the process of claim denials, appeals and the confusion regarding the process I am not sanguine with regards to the outcome. I served between the years 1971 to 1974 in Vietnam and 1971 to 1986 in the other countries. Thanks to all, in advance, for any suggestions.

Berta and Chuck,
I flew C-141's for 3 years and C-5's for 12 years. It has been so long one of my Doctors has passed away and the other has retired but I have sent a request in for the records from the hospital. I was diagnosed with Embryonal cell carcinoma with mixed germ cell tumor. Thank you for your responses. I greatly appreciate all the work you are doing for the veterans of this country.
