As to occupational impairment, the Veteran's mental health problems would not, in and of themselves, significantly impair his ability to obtain or maintain substantially gainful employment. He would likely work best in an environment in which his interactions with others, particularly people with whom he is unfamiliar, was limited. Having said this, it is also likely that with successful substance abuse and PTSD treatment, the Veteran would not be restricted as to work environments
