  1. OK I can bring his orginal denial letter. He actually got a call yesterday for that C&P exam on the hearing and PTSD from the remand. I thought that was pretty quick. Kinda scary, they just arent usually that fast. Lisa
  2. Betty, Forgive me but what is IME?
  3. I ask about attorneys the other day before I had read the whole letter. They did remand some of his conditions back so is this also going to be more of the same ol same ol? Any advise on what we should do. It was for PTSD, Hemoroids and his hearing. I dont have internet at home so I dont always get to reply or read replys quickly just depends when I can get to the library. So if you have a question it may take me a bit to answer but I will. Thanks, aklisa
  4. Thanks for the input Ill go to the CAVC and check it out. They denied him because they said it had been to long between enlistment and when he started have problems again.. He had the same complaints in service as now and even had wrist surgery while in there. But on his entrance exam he said he may have had a fractured arm when he was a kid (if we only know what we know now) so they say it is pre existing. Even though their xrays at the time he hurt it said no bone pathology. He didnt hurt his bone its the joint. He ended up with a gaglion. Which he has now again.
  5. I am wondering if anyone can give me info on an attorney. My husband just received his BVA ( i think its called BVA the last step in the VA system anyway) denial. Is it the case that he only has like 30 days to appeal this? and can now hire an attorney. We have been at this for 5 years. The fight is making me very tired and Im afraid we going to lose this battle. We had heard about an attorney from NY, Finley and Associates but cant seem to locate them now. Any help would be much appreciated. aklisa
  6. My husband has a travel board hearing coming up in a couple weeks is there anything really important we should be aware of? Something that afterwards we wont be like "boy I wish I would have known that before". We have been at this for 4 years and we are really ready for it to be over. Our biggest problem is the MRIS of his knee shows very little wrong with it, but there is definitely something more wrong beside a little chondromalacia patella (10%). What is the best way to discredit an MRI? I dont know that discredit is exactly the right word, but it just cant be correct with the problems he has with his knee.
