I am in a similar situation such as yourself.
USAF OIF vet with a PTSD claim involving constant mortar attacks and seeing civilians die.
Do you mind sharing your AFSC and base location while deployed?

I don't have a copy of the CNP yet but I saw it on my VSO's computer.
It was a combat claim and they already conceded my stressors under the 2010 rules.
Both the doc on the initial DBQ and VA rater conceded my combat stressors in the denial letter.
I'll try to get that scanned in.
Just want to know if they will accept a review DBQ in this case?

I was previously denied a ptsd claim due to no treatment or diagnosis.
The exminer filled out the initial DBQ but it failed to show any mental diagnosis.
These past few months I have been in treatment at the VA and they recently diagnosed me with PTSD.
I just filed a reconsideration on the previous claim and sumbitted the VA diagnosis as new evidence.
Would it be possible to have a private psychologist fill out a review DBQ at this point and submit it with the reconsideration?

They ruled you incompetent which, if unjustified as you believe, can lead to many negative things.
The good news is you can appeal that decision. Get your treating docs to write a statement saying they don't believe you are incompetent.
Just looking for input

Let me know how it goes.
I was also 3PO51 but at camp Sather doing mobile patrols and some static/ECP posts.
Seems nobody believes us Air Force folks because we don't have a CAB.
What they don't understand is that the Army hands them out like candy to everybody on the FOB for a single mortar strike.
In the Air Force we have to actively engage the enemy to get the equivalent.
