FYI- VA does not have your medical records when you were in the service. They are sent to the National Archives in St Louis when you depart service. THE VA Will have your records whenever you went to the VA for appointments after service. Good luck.

OK the archives in St Louis has a copy of everyones medical records as well.

go to www.archives.gov to request medical records.. they are probably closed now due to COVID but they have the medical records to file the claim. Get copies from your VA hospital if he was seen there or any other hospital/doctors office he was seen at.
