  1. Thanks Buck, I appreciate the info! I am on day 151 now so hopefully soon, but i'm trying not to dwell on it too much.
  2. My original claim was denied due to lack of evidence. I had a diagnosed disability, a stressor event in service, but no nexus between the two. I also had a favorable C&P exam as they stated I had been diagnosed with a disability and had "evidence shows a qualifying event, injury, or disease had its onset during your service". Even though I had listed that I wanted the VBA to obtain records from Madigan showing that I had in fact received treatment for what I am claiming, those records were not obtained which kicked in the DTA.
  3. I spoke with Peggy yesterday and she stated that the VBA is still waiting on the NPRC to release the the digital versions of my medical records from Madigan Army Hospital. On my decision letter, under favorable findings it stated that I have a disability and a in-service event. Under the "separate cover" the VBA stated they were requesting the records from the NPRC. If I would have went straight to BVA wouldn't they have remanded my claim for the same DTA error that the HLR found?
  4. Sorry, I should have clarified. I went through the initial claims process and was denied on 09/24/2020. I then filed for an HLR on 10/02/2020
  5. Hey Everyone, I submitted my request for a HLR on 10/02/2020 for two new conditions and received my informal conference on 02/09/2021. During the HLR process the DROC found two DTA errors, one on each claim, that needed to be corrected. (Apparently the medical files that I had requested from Madigan Army Hospital had not been requested or received by the VBA) When the second letter came to address what evidence they were looking for, it only stated that the VBA was looking for evidence into one of my claims (secondary). During this process I have been reading that my claim would normally be moved to the supplemental lane. Is this correct? If so, why has my claim continued in the HLR? Also, why would the VBA only be looking for evidence into one claim if both were found to have DTA errors? Thanks
