Im still trying to figure this out so please bare with me ... My VA claim was for injuries i suffered back in 1987 but that was denied , but in the denial letter it stated i established for my son aka helpless child and gave me a back date to March 2019 ...I am stuck here , since what im told is i need to first win a claim to get a ratings and then add his case as supplemental .. How can I when they already denied my claim ? Also , can i just open a cliam for helpess child on its own ?
