VA NATURALLY SAID NO GAVE A BUNCH OF RIDICULOUS NON MEDICAL EXCUSES SAID I HAD BONE LOSS

my extracted teeth 2 on the upper right were near my nasal passages thats not good

finally i went to the records department because a person e mailed me from had it and told me to go to the records dept in the

i got the dental notes brought them to an implant specialist the best guy in the area, he said lets take some x rays and then ill make a decision and i will give you a written decision i said okay fine

they first took a panagram scans every tooth in your mouth then they took more specialized x rays which plot out your jaw bone

then they took more x rays to check something called bone density

i left the specialist office went had coffe came back for a late afternoon consult

sat down the dentist implant specialist told me yes i had bone and bone loss near my nasal passages in my upper right front

however we have a procedure called bone augmentation where we push the nasal passages away from the bone.

on the left side of your mouth the one tooth thats missing the spacing is so small we cant put a regular implant in their

we have a procedure called a micro implant all it is is just a smaller version of a regular implant but much smaller.

so you are a good candidate for implants. WELL THE VA SAID NO. THE DENTIST TOLD ME IM TELLING YOU ARE.

HE FURTHER TOLD ME HE DENIED TWO OTHER PATIENTS THAT MORNING.

i was recently asking questions on how to get the implants and finally got some ans and had the procedure. Yes i had bone loss because when a dentist no matter how good he is you will still have some bone loss after an extraction.

another thing to note as related by my private implant doctor the more teeth that are extracted over a life the more the remaing good teeth start to "move." thats not good because if they are loose they will fall out.

each tooth relies on the other for suupport all the way around your mouth

by having an implant done it halts the movement process of other teeth since now the teeth rely on the implant to support them theirby halting movement thats a good thing just like if that tooth had never been extracted

like i said i asked questions on had it and i got answers i sent the pre bill to out patient fee basis and my lawyer recited and noticed va about veterans who are 100% and entitled to implants essentially i told va legally i was entitled if they said no i was ready to rumble they backed down my approval voucher was mailed to me each va hospital handles inplants their own way

bottom line yes they do them yes its expensive and va tries to extract them or just ignore you so you have to be pro active

it s called continuuity of adjudication in other words simply put if you do it for 1 vet you have to do it for all entitlement to implants

i just had the implants started this week the pain is considerable but tolerable with the drugs and antibiotics it supposed to be gone soon

the long term effects are all your good teeth continue to have an anchor to rest on

your able to grind and disolve food thats good because your body does not have to generate more bile to break down undigested food thats bad

also you dont have dentures dentures require a lot of cleaning and care especially if their not "FIXED TYPE."

so this is what my private implant doctor told me before he began the surgery to put in my implants. after the post

is fully adapted to your jaw then they take a cast for the crown and after 6 months you go back they install the crown

and away you go.

so i got a lot of my questions about implants answered here at had it and i moved forward last week each va is different like i said on this issue some will give you a out patient form titled request for out patient services others will handle the implants

in their oral surgery

the va said i did not have enough bone in fact i had plenty of bone to mount an implant they look at the cost of it mine are running over 10,000 for all three

According to VA math 70 +50+20+10 adds up to 89.2 percent or rounded up to 90 percent schedular.

The IU pays a 100 percent rate.

Be careful what you wish for. You know as well as I do that if the Compensation Buyout Thing ever passed, it would only be advantageous
to the VA and not the claimant. Think about all the fine print and problems we would have with it. I know it would be nice to get a big wad of cash and invest it yourself - but I feel sure many vets with problems would blow the wad fast and end up loosing everything, no place to live and no more monthly compensation coming in.

I have rec'd SC hearing loss 0% and 10% tinitus. My hearing has dropped since I got the claim and the tinitus has gotten worse. My company gives hearing test yearly so I can get a IMO from the Audiologist. How hard will it be to get some type of % for hearing loss if I refile or do you have to be totally deaf to recieve that.

in relation to the tinnitus i fought the va for an increase in my 10% tinnitus. VA wrote back to me and said based on federal law

you cannot have bi lateral tinnitus. game over. okay so a fight breaks out between me and va

I said yes i have bi lateral tinnitus. VA again writes back to me and says in the first letter we said no and further you are at the maximum rating of 10% that we give for tinnitus. i said i disagree and i dont like you or your rating system!! yeah thats what i told em in my letter point blank aND BLUNTLY

so i filed an appeal then they write back and quote a federal case to me wanner v principi not sure if this is the case they cited the supreme court said you only get one rating of 10% for tinnitus

well i didn't like that court case decision either OR THE VA'S ATTITUDE!!

so i got mad AGAIN filed another appeal ON TOP OF THAT APPEAL GOT A LAWYER with an ime and well the rest is just history i,m lookin at years of fighting with the fed

I DON'T LIKE THE VA NEVER HAVE NEVER WILL I USE MY MEDICARE CARD I DONT USE THE VA FOR ANYTHING

HOPE THIS HELPS I BELIEVE VETERANS CAN HAVE AND DO HAVE BI LATERAL TINNITUS ITS A PROVEN FACT SO A VETERAN

SHOULD GET 10% FOR THE LEFT EAR AND 10% FOR THE RIGHT EAR 20% COMBINED

i have P&T IU for MST PTSD, Major Depression. My pdoc at the time as well as my tdoc both wrote in their letters that there was no way ever I would be able to work again. I had several instances of suicide attempts, some occurring on the job due to PTSD-related job stressors. This was very strong evidence for the VA.

i'm only telling this to possibly show to what degree the VA is looking for. believe me, i'd rather be working....but i simply cannot.

and also remember that nothing with the VA is truly "permanent". apparently they reserve the right to re-examine anyone they want to who is on P&T status after a 10-yr time period has passed...even when your ltr (like mine) says "no further exams required".

while on iu you can only earn 8000 yr however i had a friend get called in for making 4000

a person on iu without ptsd continues to be evaluated for other service conditions the va decides his ratable sc go to schedular

the iu gets revoked the veteran is placed on schedular 100% can make as much as he wants

Hi,
Can someone point me in the right direction? I believe there was a rule about...if a non sc condition causes a sc condition to worsen, then the non sc condition could be rated.
I hope I am remembering this correctly.

i don't know where you live but i will give you advice

1.) do not go to the DAV just yet

2.) go to www.vawatchdog.com jim strickland this fellow can ans your question

3.) go to VSO veterans service officer for the state you live in most states have a state vet rep

4.) look up the regs in 38 cfr code federal regs

5.) then find out when the dav mobile truck is in your area but be careful here!!

6.) last piece of advice once you meet the dav believe ----------it or not they are a direct pipe line to va

word to the wise once the dav knows you the va will know who you are shortly their after get the picture. DAV and VA sleep in the same bed so to speak.

get all your facts records consult va watch dog consult fellow vets here i have learned so much from my peers here!!! before even thinking dav va just yet----------- county vet REPS are pretty good

Oh- same advise but maybe best to have all of your evidence files marked as Exhibit A,B, C, etc and then have the list of these files on a separate page and have someone you know hand them to you during the televised conference.
Make sure the lighting is good. I understand you can hold stuff right up to the camera to get it into the record.

Also vets should never forget to take advantage of the camera-as it can often reveal the extent of their disability better then med recs can-
one vet here or some other site- made sure he got his shoes and socks off to show the VA camera his leg injury-or skin disorder -forget what-
scars from schrapnel or SC surgery also can be seen if the camera can get a close up- I dont know about rectal problems or ED claims however- B)

still- this is a good way to get a personalized rapport with the VA and it can do wonders for a claim.

You might want to rehearse a short opening statement a few times to get on the record exactly why you feel their decision was wrong.
And get a thought written down for when the conference is about to end to reiterate the important points that you made.Be sure to thank them and tell them you feel they will fully consider the points that you made or evidence that you got into the record.

Dont be nervous-they are probably scared to death when they do these TV things.

I applied for 5 different things on my VA Claim. I have in my possession overlooked evidence on 2 of them.

I was underrated on one disability rating and was completely denied on another one. Can I send in my disagreement on these 2 things and then separately disagree on the other 3 before my year to appeal is expired? Or do I have to file all disagreements at once?

IT S ALL BASED ON FILING DATES AND 1 YEAR YOU SHOULD CONSULT VA LAWYER OR STATE VA COUNSLER

Larry, that's great advice or should I say opinion! I will talk with my DR about wording it in a way that will work to help my future claim. I can't say enough about the people on hadit so friendly and helpful! Thanks T-Bird for HADIT!

Now if you have a medicare card you go to a private to keep going back over and over va medicae va medicare after a year

you should have hundreds of pages of complaints thats what the va feeds on

piece of good advice sleep apnea

make sure that copp machine is in good working order

every time you go to doctor which for any VA rating is 6 months

YOU MAKE SURE YOU TELL THAT DOCTOR AT THAT VISIT BE A PRIVATE DOCTOR OR VA DOCTOR

YOU HAVE SLEEP APNEA AND ARE USING A COPP MACHINE
