  1. Dr. King didn't ask me anything other than how bout that weather, and follow my assistant, after he did a stress test. He wrote all this silly stuff in his findings, with no input from me.
  2. I guess it is. It would be clearer from the start, being va lap dog started by me with docs attached. I have neurologists and mris's from the va that clearly show all sorts of problems and the C&P exam DR. King says I am good to go. The decision from the va says nothing wrong with me but if there was it is not SC. my IME is Wednesday.
  3. Oh no that did not come from my IME, that nonesense cam from dr king, the va lap dog they hired to do my C&P. I go to my IME to morrow, which I will put that in front of her and compare it to the radiologist notes and mri images and a six year old can tell what is going on, or at least that is my plan and i have enough faith she will call them out on this. DH: just one DRO hearing claim for low back injury. was 13B field artillery for 6.5 years. I think most reasonable people can connect those dots, or so I hope.
  4. Thank you guys, that was all I was looking for. Not concerned with what Dr. King finds or not. actually that is not true. The less he finds the more it makes it look like he is in bed with the VA, that he is shooting for what he thinks they are looking for. but since My messed up back is documented forty ways from sunday it just proves his unreliability. "This doctor is stating there are no findings of a disability" is what I figured that meant as in no pressure on the S1 nerve, no protruded or extruded herniations, levocrvature, wedged disc (which hindered my physical therapy),annular fissure, Degenerative Disc Disease, neural foraminal stenosis, hypertrophy, .... all from va dec 2008 mri radiologist and neurologist. So it helps my case, just makes me work more and pay more. I really appreciate that! So the va is stating even if there was it would not be SC. Now how could someone macke that determination for someone with nothing wrong with them? Wouldn't yo have to have a diagnosis to do that? Maybe my IME can work that out Wednesday.
  5. On a bright note the IME office called and said they would discount 30% if paid in cash, so instead of 500 dollars, they would charge minus tax 338.00. So i'll take what I can get, no doubt will increase manifold when they start digging through Dr. king's findings. Anyway Dr. king found the following, all the rest of the truth aside, what does the following mean: The are no signs of Lumbar Intervertebral Disc Syndrome with chronic and permanent nerve root involvement. Specifically what does he mean "Lumbar Intervertebral Disc Syndrome"? He also wrote that examination revealed no evidence of radiating pain on movement. That would imply he is either psychic or I am retarded since how would he know by looking at me whether I experienced radiating pain? As if I wouldn't know what Sciatica radiating pain does and the locations. Off topic, so any idea what exactly he means by Lumbar Intervertebral Disc Syndrome? Is that herniations etc.? Thank you.
  6. I guess I just like to write but the neurologist said "I could let them know if I wished to consider surery" which i told them that would be my last choice! And the notes said my pain began to get worse in 2005 which is correct which the denial said the pain began period in 2005, and that the pain did not warrant surgery where the notes and epidural fee basis approval indicate surgery and injections were my choice. would you let these fools open you up.I would not! Lying so and so's!
  7. He is on the greenville hwy. in Flatrock. I was the first one in line for the day so I just dealt with the receptionist so I cannot say their standard way of accessing his office. modern, well they were in the process of remodeling and they had you stand against the wall for most of the X-rays and they worked out of 2 different rooms, where the receptionist did 99% of the diagnostic work. It's been quite awhile so i don't have a clear picture of the joint. Other than the documents i posted, he issued many other docs, that are just part of the evidence his operation was working with which are part of the information that was available to him and clearly came to the wrong conclusion without regard to the affect it would have to his victim, even with no other evidence he should have been able to perform better than a first year dog dog catchedr (nothing personal against dog catchers, honest). He clearly lied as I have been saying for months regarding my SLR positive response since in Dec 2008 iaw the va neurologist consult notes stated in exect terms I was positive colateral and according to Dr King I was negative on 6 april 2009. He didn't even do the SLR Test. I am well aware as would anybody with an internet connection would be aware of how to responde to the /slr and how they distract your attention when they seat you on the exam table and you shold lean back if you experience pain. what, am I six years old? I have him on paper as a liar. what can i do about that? diddly. I certainly hope if you went through him you had better luck. since he found absolutely zero wrong with my lumbar there is something clearly wrong with his diagnostic abilities or eqipment, since not one doctor questioned my lumbar problems. even when push came to shove the VA had as a back up the lumbar injuries were not SC. At least that had some merit for debate, not much, but at least it was not a lie. He never had me sit on the table and raise my legs. He never had me lay on my back on the exam table and raise my legs. He is a liar. i have been syaing that for months, now the only difference is it is now on a paper he wrote down I had no lumbar problems, which the 2 mri's clearly dispute! Along with multiple Dr's and their very own Neurologist. They prescribe me hydrocodone and you know they do that on a whim, along with offering epidural injections and surgery, should I chose so in the future. If I couldn't take a joke and a family to take care of me, dr. King and I would have a very personal problem.
  8. When I posted this junk, which we all know, so what is the point? I'll tell you the point to me, there was a gentleman just just the other day that was at the end of his rope. I want him to know he is not alone! I know that is little solace to him but to everybody in a jam with the VA and you feel like you are the onliest one being done wrong. Read this and tell me you are alone. You bet i'll be on the IG and believe me too I'll tell the DRO and IME all about this. I do not expect you guys to wave the magic wand and fix this since you have dealt with the same system I have but i just don't want the guy with 0 dollars to defend thenselves against the va to feela ll alone. tey are not. they are not being singled out either. i don't fell singled out. i think they have a budget and if you draw a short starw , well tough luck. truth and and right are not relevant. thank you guys for the help, guidance, and encouragement. I wish king.... well never mind but you know what i'm thinking. he would be on his own! ps john and dav I had to switch to dialup since i live ib the woods and satellite goes out when the weather is bad. I wanted to thank you guys for giving me the ammo to fight back and the the encouragement to fight on!
  9. IME on wednwsday is about it other than me pointing this out, toe to toe with the DRO conference. now how could ant IME look at this and not giggle. but Dr. King in Hendersonville, nc said there is zero wrong with my back. how can he sleep at night?
  10. so of course that does suck. I have attached 1 mri and some additional info to prove that i'm not just talking garbage, but on the one hand, according to their own dr's etc i have injuries, then they hire another dr, thar did n't even do a slr tect which came out negative, so there is nothing wrong with me regardless of the attached, then is case there were something wrong with my lumbar it is not SC acording to, well according to nobody because he sais nothing was wrong but in any event it was not SC because a reviewer said so.
  11. Attached are two docs that were isolated from the VA QTC Lap Dog Exam which states i have no lumbar problems, at all! Negative SLR etc. He did not have the benefit of my MRI's and Neurology consoluts which are in complete contratdiction to his findings but i have attached the 2 docs and will show them to the IME on Wednesday since evidently the VA tossed everything else out the door and just went with this. Weird thing is he increased my heart and feet issues. that makes me wonder if my heart is ready to give out if he would straight lie regarding my lumbar. How can he dispute his fellow doctors, who are neurologists, and MRI's that indicate all sorts of problems with x-rays, which not one doctor, to include the Physical Therapy people deny i have multiple lumbar emphirical evidence there are injuries. He does not bother with the SC part, he just says there are no problems. now keep in mind i don't grag myself in place and play games with them, I just tell them the facts and let them do with it as they may. evidently they choose to make a fool of himself. One look at either MRI cooks his soory to nothing but a blatant lie, which the va to and then added just in case that was good enough, they say in any event the injuries were not sc. So what, there is nothing wrong with my lumbar and the neurologists and mri's are lies or he lied and the injuries are not sc. I can't put all my mri's and the docs that denied me the lumbar but they rode the fence and said nothing wrong with my back and not sc anyway. Gheex louise, this has got to be hilarious. negative SLR and the the mri straight says the is pressure on the S1 nerve root. how can they have it both ways? I will point this mess out to the neorologist and see what she says. I will try to maintain my calm. PS I was SLR positive in Durham with the VA Neurologist: SLR on left at 75/contralateral at 75 degrees to 1 leg. Well what? Toe walk weak on left.
  12. You've really been an inspiration on this, which is big because there have been multiple times due to other things I have to take care of, I have been ready to throw in the towel. but that has been a new thought and i know it's all possible, depending on who is listening. At least the IMO will de done one Wednesday by a Neurologist. It depends on how she acts is how i will respond. She may just roll over, wich i actually expect since this is do obvious and I made the nexus for her on the forms she has me fill out. The podiatry/skeletal alignment/Approved SC Nexus. I will straight out tell here that if there is a connection between those then put it in her findings which I will hand here short example of. i don't want to overwhelm her with stuff but i think she needs some minimal guidance about the VA. On the other hand she may have the sole pupose off extracring money from me. as in we need more of this, 20 of that, at which point I'll just tell here to work with what she has, nothing else coming out this onion! At that point i'll roll on over to the VA, make an appointment with my pcp and get a referral to my to the Podiatrist, since all they they have done so far is a fee basis prosthetic shoe insert and I doubt they could be of much help. But off to the Podiatrist for the Nexus. You can't have enough plans. I have zero idea what my neurologists agenda is. I just know now I have a back up plan now. hope that sounds like a sound plan, but i have all the evidence a reasonable person would need but oh no, they have a budget an I am not a line item. Thanks for the ideas/Docs/ and the kick in the pants. Know more on wednesdat at 9:30. jbasser, Thanks for the doc, still in the process of distilling the final draft of the info I habd the Neurologist. I just looked at that link and that is pretty much word for word that dav was referring to. changed body parts, but I can rework that easily and that is just so clear to see, but wee have to go to court to get there. Just sick. The only help you are gonna get is here or at least my experience! Hopefully after Wednesday you can help another Vet. imean I am not over the top greedy, I let a couple of thing go just because I didn't feel I had 100% of the evidence I needed but my lumbar, given my mos and time in service and the podiatric surgery, fallen arch due the bearing weight, that is too much to play the whipped pup on.
  13. I put that cancel in because i feel way too guilty to keep on taking like you/john/berta/calie and on and on which is just wrong. I just got youremail and if that doesn't do it it is just because they don't want to. I think it's worth the IME gamble primarily because I am right. It is much easier to win a debate in law or on the corner when yo are absolutely right. Dave thank you for the idea regarding the secondary cause for back problems. I will use the podiatry issues as a back up, since I have plenty of evidence for primary SC cause, but the more the better. If one reason isn't sufficient the other might met their requirements! john, i had a friend that had extremely high arches which it seems to be what you suffer from. I don't know if that is enough to put your body out of alignment but i know it gave him all sorts of problems, definetly as bad as mine! they did surgery bilateral on me which wasn't for flat feet but dig require them to break both great toes and realign which is the alighnment problem. I appreciate DAV for pointing the secondary aspect out because the VA may just blow it off but it may well be more ammo for the IMO! Thank you again DAV! And I don't mean the VSO.
  14. I found this at below: http://www.hadit.com/forums/lofiversion/in...php/t28304.html at prompting, I looked at my lumbar injury from another angle, which is claim the lumbar injury, or at least as an option for orgin or aggrevation due to secondary to approved SC podiatry problems which are long term approved SC issues being pes planus (fallen arches) since we can assume my feet were not flat when I was accepted as fit for service: plantar fasciitis, and mitchell procedure surgery during service for buinionectomy (status post bunionectomy with scar) left 10% and right 10% . Would this be the same for my purposes, which are claiming my lumbar injury was caused by or aggravated by podiatic issues and primarily caused by in service injury which I hav ER notes and Battalion aid station notes, with buddy sytem notes. the additional documentation offered were the NIOSH Lifting Equation being exceeded by field artillery activities. Could or should I rework this for my IME use to include the above items? Or is there already a prewoked doc, for use to hand to VA Podiatry(shoe inserts/not much else they can do but more surgery) which puts my body out of alignment and the IME? 15. Those docs you sent were very useful. That is how this is so useful to me, I would have done all sorts of digging to find this info. No thanks from nobody, just your willingbess to help. I'm not even an ex marine. Thank you friend, and to all those that help others. Doesn't look like from your story you can tell unless you try right!
  16. Not to hijack but this is what I believe you told me and what I boiled it down to: (f) . . . The claimant or beneficiary and his or her representative will be notified in writing of decisions affecting the payment of benefits or granting relief. All notifications will advise the claimant of . . . the right to initiate an appeal by filing a Notice of Disagreement which will entitle the individual to a Statement of the Case for assistance in perfecting an appeal. . . . PS Jayg, sorry, we must have been posting at the same time or I didn't see it. My bad. So the VA has to notify you and then give you the opportunity to appeal that decision to reduce your rating? Appeal=Nod Do they have to re C&P exam you, or is it on you to get an IMO and prove your disability? I understand they are required to provide you with a new SOC. Thank you, I believe I am starting to understand the recourse.
  17. that is very encoraging information. I haven't kept up with anybody but some could be found easily enough but mainly what you've accomplished is given me some sorely needed encouragement. I've got a buddy statement for the ride to the ER for lumbar injury, notes, mri's......just all the docs in the world. I have an IMO scheduled for Wed. so depending on how that goes anything else may not be necessary. really the imo should not be required since no doctor, their neurologist, their 2 radiologists, etc all agree my back is messed up, the va just denies it is sc. They I guess believe all the different herniations wedged discs, you name it, all came from sitting at a desk, as opposed to hauling projos on my shoulder from the ground over 100 yards to the howitzer. Now that would surely not cause any damage, what, they only weigh 130 to 170 lbs and I weighed 128 lbs. at the time. the IMO should do it, but if not, more buddy statements it is! thanks for remembering that article! Could do it but definetly gave me a boost! When we get to this point the leg work is mostly done, except a qtc exam the VA can't seem to part with, and the IMO will be over Wednesday. So really support from each other is about as important as anything. Don't get me wrong! We/I have to have the technical procedures or we are goners before we start, but without support, I know I would have already given up and crawled off into a corner!
  18. I was at a neurologist a few years ago and mentioned possible prediabetes but nothing missing on the arms but the calves are exactly as you say, smoothas a babies butt (you're right a woman would pay big money for what I have going on! I thought I wqas the only one with that. The Neurologist was talking about the numbness in my thighs. But There is zero agreement on that! If you had 20 doctors, you would have 20 opinions. I still don't have diabetes, although on occassion in can jump, but rarely. And this is 1979 we're talking about. Nothing left to be said but that is an idea, possible diabetic link, but that's a long time to be dealing with a pre anything condition. I got he idea with the forums and will respect that line.
  19. Yes Pete you are so right about the guidance Bertha provides us. I am embarassed that I have to be helped so much, but Bertha is always there with precise correct answers. Additionally thanks to all that help each other. I would never have the nerve to fight this without the support and information.
  20. Gotcha, 10-4, lima charlie. I just hadn't heard of it and wouldn't have known if it was a forum or better mouse trap. Just curious about it. i went over and looked at it and since I am familiar with the folks here and where some things are obviously I don't feel compelled to reinvent the wheel. This is on the twilight zone side though Pete et al I saw a thread about Vietnam Vets lossing all the hair off both of their calves. That exact same thing happened to me in Germany in 1979 and have never been to Vietnam. I never followed up on it since it didn't interfer with my ability to work so i just let it go. They didn't seem to have a diagnosis for it either. Weird, what would cause that?
  21. I would like to thank both of you fanaticbooks and blanco63 for the answers to that. Who knew? Not possible to have enough information and these are excellent possibilities. I haven't had a chance to try them but bet I will. I feel the fear starting to well up since I am entering unknow territory with DRO reviews and conferences along with handing over 500 bucks to a complete stranger and for all I know she has been a life long anti soldier etc and blah waiting for the opportunity to beat one of us over the head. I know all that seems silly but how would I know and 500 dollars may not seem like much to most of you but bet it means a lot to me, then the VA, just after making some decisions in my favor could just up and decide They have changed their minds then I'd be out of the frying pan into the fire! Anyways good deal on the extra sites for info. i had no idea they existed. Thank you, david
  22. pm sent with email. I was in field artillery as in from the ground up. humping pojo's over a 100 yards to the howitzer. they weighed from 130 to 170 lbs with 128 lb body. Do the math on that. The VAA can't. Plus since my jobs were Safety Specialist/supply tech/contract Admin all sitting. thank you
  23. thank you for being so generous1 I will pm you with my email but anything that I could reword for my doctor and hand to her and make it dead simple. what would you rather work on, the one that is spelled out or the one yo have to think about. Goal being to make it so clear and easy. The doctor and I have zero history so I have the burden here to make this easy and straight to her.
