Hello all !
I was pleased to find this user group. I'm a Service Disabled Veteran of the USAF, with a spinal cord injury. C4-C5-C6-C7 cervical discectomy with fusion.
I've been working my claim with the VA for about 3 years now, and have the DAV as my advocate. They've been a great help so far, and (probably similar to many here) I'm still working on getting my VA rating where it needs to be.
Cheers to you all, and I hope to be able to share my experience to date to help others who've not yet come this far, and seek support as I keep up the efforts on my own rating.

Additional Limitation Of Motion Rating
in Veterans Compensation & Pension Exams
Posted
At my QTC Medical Evaluation, my right hip range of motion is limited to 50 degrees flexion. In the notes following the range of motion table, the doctor wrote additional limitations after repetitive use, and stated "The above additionally limit the joint function by 15 degrees."
My question is, how does the VA use that 'additional limitation' statement? With the ROM measured at 50 in flexion, I have no % rating. Flexion needs to be 20-40, if I read the CFR 38 correctly.
