:( So I guess it is possible to get 60% PTSD. The broke it up into two 30% ratings is this usual? Then they deferred my Tbi. It brings me up to 80%. :D

I see your at 80% and you said "tbi upgrade". Are you already SC for the TBI?
Yes I was at 60% the VA just gave me 30% PTSD which made it 80%. I am rated 30% Post-Concussion Symdrome, TBI, in which I asked for an upgrade under the new rules. They granted me 30% PTSD "lowballed" and they deffered my TBI claim, but I dont know why, because I took my TBI exam back in April 09 and I have no additional evidence to turn in. My parachute collapsed on a jump Nov 2005 which cause me to slam to the ground and have a loss of counciousness for over an hour.

on 1-16-2009 I filed a claim for Tbi, PTSD. They granted me 30% PTSD, in which I think I was "lowballed" then they told my Tbi upgrade from 2006 was deferred. What does deferred mean? Why didnt they just rate my TBI along with my PTSD??? Scrratching my m@#$^$^ing head!!

Gee Charlie, I thought I left all the beurocratic mess back in my last unit. This is sad for vets to go through!! Well I appreciate your response. I had been posting on vets yuku, and I see some of the same vets here. This is nice of you guys to help for free!! They say the best things in life are for free!! Thank you for serving!!!

I recently called my RO and they told me that my case will go under "review" in 10 days. What does under review mean? Is there a set timeline for thing as such? How come when I call the 800 number they say still in development, but I caught one of the representative that knew what they were doin, and they told me "Your c-file goes under review in 10 days"?????
In this Crazy World!?!?!??

Can DRO's trigger a cue by themselves? Or do they need something from the Veteran?

I am new to this, but I have a good one. I was discharged in Feb 2006. I served in OIF 1, but my medal and awards DD-214 doesnt reflect. The Army records say that I have no combat experience. I have overwhelming evidence picuters, newspaper articles, letters saying that I did serve in Iraq theatre. I have been denied PTSD twice saying that it is none service connected, because my military records dont reflect. I have since then resubmitted all my new evidence, and still waiting on a decision. If the VA made the error of not doing enough research into my initial claim, will I recieve retro-pay, if granted compensation from the first time I was denied Feb 2006?
