I am sorry for your loss. I have other issues I have developed mostly with my back and legs so yes it is a combination I am applying for. I have already applied and been denied on my initial application. Which, I have heard is normal for most people. How far into hte process did it take for you to get approved on your husbands survivor benefits? If you do not mind me asking?

I have been reading through the questions on this forum and I am a member of a site called http://www.ssdfacts.com which has copies of letters received from Social Security from people who have applied for Disability Benefits. It also has wait times for for hearings and things like that. I think it would help answer alot of questions I have seen in this forum. I hope it is ok to post this. If not please let me know. I am going through this journey myself and I know how hard this process is for all us. My thoughts are with you all. Some of your stories are far worse then mine and truly break my heart.
