Thanks andref1976. I hope the VA will recognize they are responsible for injuries anytime they happen while on ACTUTRA or weekend drills.

My exposure to the jet and recip engine noise was some years back (1975). The little plastic earplugs then issued by the Navy were worthless. As a weekend warrior I was required to get my 3 hours of flight time each month (for 5 years) to earn flight pay. My 2 week ACDUTRA also required me to be in a noise intense environment. How long does it take to get tinnitus anyway?

I suffered hearing loss and tinnitus from being around Naval aircraft as a week-end warrior and during my 2 week active duty period. Can I get a disability rating for these injuries from my Reserve duties?
