I was called by my local V.A. today for a comp-penn exam.Has anyone had this DR. kundu do a exam on them?This is a female Dr. and I think a hired gun for the V.A. Anyway can i find out what her background is?I thuoght it strange I would get a call rather than a letter sating I have a comp-penn.Thanks,mark.

Berta,I had prior claims pending before the surgery.the surgery was january 31 07.In may of 0-7 i was granted temporary 100%.Then in june 29-07 I was granted individual unemployability reto to july 2004.In the june 29-07 decision letter it stats my overall combined rateing will be 60% as of march 1 08.I dont think my payments will be reduced because I am payed at the 100% rate for I.U.the problem is I claimed S.C. for my right knee secondary to my SC left knee and left anlke injury,As well as an increase for my SC back.The comp-pen exam I had did not include my right knee.In fact the examiner did not even mention my right knee in her report.I also asked that the bilatersl factor be concirded.I think my left knee should be rated at the 60% rate.And my right knee be SC.Then I may be able to get smc.I am going to need long term care.My family cant do everthing for me.Hope this makes sence to you.thanks mark.

I have not posted on my knee replacement since last year. To refresh what happend,had knee replacment surgery jan 31 07 discharged feb 2 07.I was home 8 hours and had to be taken to emergency room by ambulance. I was admited for five days due to a severe infection. Transferd by ambulance back to West Haven VAMC. Had a knee washout and spacer exchange. Spent another week or so at VA. Sent back home with in home P.T. and I.V.antibiotics. Well now my new knee will not bend and my leg is 1 inch longer than it was. This really aggreviates a S.C. back problem when I am able to stand. My questions are, I have asked the V.A. to extend my 100% for convalescence. Was this the right thing to do? Currently the va rates my knee at 30% for post opp replacment.I have had no comp-pen exam since the surgery.I feel I meet the 60% rating beacuse of residules-pain on motion.Do I file a 1151? Ask for a increase or fill out the forms the West Haven VA sent me,to make a claim for damages.I am not feeling well. I have had a constant head cold, runny nose and went from 213 pounds to 153 pounds.I am currently rated 100% due to individual unemployability.
